    Activity Instructions:

    Print and hang the animal pictures on the wall in your classroom space. Before beginning the activity, review the animals and their colors. As you sing the song, the children go and touch the animal picture that is hanging on the wall.

    Activity Instructions:

    “For our world music dance today, we are visiting Columbia with a champeta song. This is Carlos Vives song Pa’Mayte.”

    Use different movements in similar sections of the song to help children hear the sections of the music. Make a train in the bridge section, use a train whistle to enhance if available.

    Activity Instructions:

    With Tots, Teacher drops beanbag behind child, parent helps child run to catch teacher. Repeat so all children get a turn. Invite children to sing the song with you as you play the game.

    With Kid Rock, children drop beanbag behind another child, second child chases the first, repeat.
