Raining on a Sunny Day

Activity Instructions:

Pass out the rainsticks. Allow your students to explore shaking them, turning them from one side to the other, tapping them on the ground, passing them back and forth between their hands, etc. Then introduce the song.

I can make it sound like it’s rain-ing

I can make it sound like a storms in town
pour-ing down on us to-day
When I turn my rain-stick up-side down
all the col-ored balls fall down
